Summer Socializing: Where to find motorcycle events in Vancouver

Normally during the summer season, you'll find many of the Jammer Cafe crew out on the open roads in our beautiful province of British Columbia, Canada. This summer, however, we are remaining mainly indoors to get the cafe and garage ready for our September launch date. That doesn't mean we're not socializing with the rider community, though. We've been visiting many events in and out of Vancouver.

Motorcycle Socials around Metro Vancouver

August 14, Jammer Cafe checked in at #TheMotoSocialVancouver, where more than 50 bikes were on display at La Casa Gelato on Venables Street. We downed some ice cream and met new friends while reconnecting with old ones. #TheMotoSocial is a great place to connect with positive, like-minded people who want form friendships and build camaraderie. They meet up every month at a new location, supporting local businesses. Next months location is planned to be at our neighbours International Motorsports on West 2nd Ave and Manitoba.

On Saturday, August 11, we attended the fifth annual Squamish Motorcycle Festival where we got to see an awesome stunt show, listen to some blues from Bluesberry Jam, and check out the rides in the Show and Shine.

Looking for a ride buddy? There are many motorcycle social events happening in and around Vancouver throughout the rest of the summer. On Facebook you will find groups keen for new members. August 18 there is LightMode Night Ride in Vancouver as well as Vancouver Bike Nights, August 27 at Red Truck Brewery.

We'll update our community blog on where to find us the rest of this summer.
